One of the ways that CareerForce reaches people who could use our services is through community events. Tomorrow, Saturday, September 24th, CareerForce will be at the CLUES La Cultura Cura (Culture Heals) event at 777 East Lake Street in Minneapolis. La Cultura Cura is focused on the connection between arts, culture and community. The event takes place from 11am-4pm and features art activities for the whole family. This event is one of many that celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15.  

CareerForce and CLUES, which stands for Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio, share the building at 777 East Lake Street. This helps the two organizations serve customers.   

• CareerForce is the State of Minnesota’s official employment resource for job seekers and employers, offering services at no cost. We connect people who need work with the employers who need them, with a focus on helping people get on a career path to family-sustaining employment.  
• CLUES provides no-cost housing counseling, employment services, job training/certifications, financial coaching, free healthy food distribution, behavioral health clinics, English classes and more, to individuals and families who dream of a better future. 

Together in one location in Minneapolis, CareerForce and CLUES serve customers in person, over the phone and online. Services are provided in English, Spanish, and Somali, as well as other languages through the Language Line.
