White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) is a fully accredited institution of higher learning dedicated to academic excellence grounded in Anishinaabe culture, values, and traditions. The Custom Education department at WETCC offers prospective candidates the opportunity to advance their educational and career goals with individually tailored programs, funded by grants from the State of Minnesota. Our program has connections and affiliations with multiple industry leaders throughout the region in the fields of healthcare, childcare, education, administration, wholesale distribution, and manufacturing. We are also branching out into new and competitive fields like renewable energy, with a focus on sustainability. 

Our goal is to assist applicants achieve their career goals and to overcome any potential educational, economic, or personal hurdles they might face. WETCC will provide work readiness skills training, pathways, certificates, and degrees in regional and local industries for individuals in the target populations who are seeking employment, a more stable career, or a four-year degree. To maximize our ability to meet regional workforce needs, we will partner with area training facilities and post-secondary institutions to offer additional programs while providing participants with exceptional navigation and support services.
