The Second Annual Joint Services Career Fair took place last Saturday afternoon at the Northern Star Scouting Base Camp in Bloomington.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), a Leading CareerForce partner, teamed up with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines reserve units to put on the event.
The career fair featured 60 employers, including DEED and other state and federal agency employers, plus many private employers and service organizations.
Nearly 100 uniformed job-seeking military members and veterans participated in the career fair, where they learned about positions that would leverage their military experience and spoke with employers who value their service.
