CareerForce hosted or co-hosted many hiring events this week. We’d like to share highlights from two of them.
On Wednesday more than 100 job seekers converged on the Hennepin County Library branch in Brooklyn Park to meet with 11 employers with open positions. Job seekers also were able to talk with CareerForce staff about career exploration, resume review, job search assistance and for information about employment training resources. What some of those who participated had to say: "Lots of employers and good information from the representatives" and "The employers were great!" "Variety of employers, great turnout!"
On Tuesday, nearly 350 job seekers turned out to meet with 60+ Northeast Minnesota employers at the Spring Career Fair, which took place at Black Bear Casino in Carlton, Minnesota. Check out the crowds learning more about hundreds of open positions throughout the northeastern part of the state. Job seekers could also stop by the CareerForce table for assistance with their job search.
