Our CompTIA Project+ course is ideal for IT professionals who need to manage smaller, less complex projects as part of their other job duties but still have foundational project management skills. Project+ is more versatile than other certifications because it covers essential project management concepts beyond the scope of just one methodology or framework.
The CompTIA Project+ examination is designed for IT professionals who coordinate or manage small-to-medium-sized projects. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills required to:
- Manage the project life cycle
- Ensure appropriate communication
- Manage resources and stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation
The course is designed to prepare students for the CompTIA Project+ certification exam, which validates their foundational project management skills. With this certification, students will be better equipped to pursue a career in IT or to further their education in the field. Students who complete the course will be provided with a voucher for the Project+ exam, and we can offer assistance scheduling the exam with Pearson Vue. We offer practice exams for preparation.

Project + Ceritifcation
A combination of public and private grants allows the majority of MTFSLearn students to enroll in training at no cost. For students currently enrolled in MNBenefits, Minnesota Tech for Success is licensed by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, WIOA-approved and can be found on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).
