This week, the spotlight is on Leading CareerForce partner Anoka County Job Training Center and the Anoka County Economic and Workforce Development Summit. Held in May 2024 and hosted in partnership with Anoka County Regional Economic Development, the summit brought together more than 130 employers for collective conversation and learnings around talent attraction and hiring opportunities, retention strategies focused on a diverse, equitable and accessible workforce and the future of work. Supported with regional funding from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), this summit included presentations from Allina Health Systems, nVent, the Minnesota Chamber Foundation, the DEED Labor Market Information office and others. Among the resources shared was the Minnesota Chamber DEI Playbook.
