- In 2022, there were about 6,250 establishments providing just under 49,000 jobs in the Information industry, with a payroll of $3.6 billion dollars. Average annual wages were just over $74,000 in 2022, which was about $4,500 above the average across all industries.
- The largest subsector was Publishing Industries (which includes Newspapers), with 19,700 jobs; followed by Telecommunications with 9,500 jobs and Internet Service Providers, Web Search Portals & Data Processing Services with 7,800 jobs.
