KOM's CDL training program is a permit prep class. These classes are held in person. Participants will learn industry basics and receive behind the wheel training with a certified instructor.
No High School diploma or G.E.D required to participate.
Eligibility requirements:
- Identify as a Person of Color, Immigrant/Refugee, Low Income (200% or less than federal poverty guidelines) OR reside in these zip codes: 55106, 55107, 55130, 55113, or 55119
- Desire to start a CDL career and be authorized to work in the US
- Currently unemployed or underemployed and interested in finding work at end of program
- Meet income guidelines
- Committed to completion of program
Take CDL A test for free.
Students will receive help writing resume and cover letter. Career Development Counselor will help students finding CDL A placements.
Opportunity for participants to receive coaching to help them achieve their financial goals.
