Why employers should sign up for this training

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Disability Inclusive Business Partner training is designed to increase workforce inclusion and help employers benefit from the unique skillsets of qualified individuals with disabilities. 

Through the Disability Inclusive Business Partner training, employers will learn best recruitment, hiring and retention practices to make their workplace more inclusive for people with disabilities. By adopting these best practices, they create an inclusive work environment for ALL employees.

About the training

The Disability Inclusive Business Partner training is for organizations wanting to diversify their workplace. Trainees will get an overview of disabilities, learn about inclusive recruitment, hiring and retention best practices, and get the tools to create a work environment supportive of all. 

Employers complete the free virtual training at their own pace and receive Disability Inclusive Business Partner certification and ongoing support to build on acquired skills.
