Many manufacturing jobs can be started with a high school diploma or equivalent (for example, a GED) and employer provided on-the-job training. Manufacturing employers have a variety of potential funding sources for training workers, including Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership training.
There are also opportunities to participate in an apprenticeship with a manufacturing employer. You can find out about apprenticeships, their many benefits and how you can find them on the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry website.
