Washington County Workforce Development
Washington County Workforce Development is a division of Washington County Community Services. Our mission is to provide employment services and training options that connect employers and job seekers through community partnerships and technology.
We offer no-cost programs and services for all job seekers and for businesses, as well as some eligibility-based services.
Dislocated Worker services are designed to help workers who have been laid off get back to work as quickly as possible. If you have been laid off through no fault of your own (or notified that a layoff is coming), we offer services focused on preparing you to find a suitable new job. You do not have to be a Washington County resident to get services. To find out if you’re eligible call 651-275-8680.
Young Adult Employment & Training services are for those ages 14-24 and are low income and/or have barriers that make it difficult to find work or keep a job. Services offered:
- Assessments & career planning
- Tuition assistance for post-high school training
- Work experience placement & paid work
- Job search assistance
