Minnesota Training Partnership in partnership with Millwrights Local 548 is preparing underserved groups for high-wage, high-demand Millwrights union jobs. Millwrights install, maintain, repair, and dismantle heavy machinery on construction sites and in factories, warehouses, power plants, and other industrial locations. These union jobs pay well, and you can become a millwright by taking part in a paid apprenticeship program, where you earn while learning. Our Millwrights Wind Energy Training Program is your first step in entering this exciting occupation! Key components of the short-term program include culturally responsive services, and strong connections to our unions and apprenticeship program. Some services and training are available online, with the core program requiring attending classes in person due to the hands-on nature of the training.  After training completion there would be support provided until participants find full time employment.  Resume development, job search strategies, interviewing skills and job leads will be provided.
