You’re duty-bound to our country. We’re duty-bound to your success. Because of that, we’re here to support your career development needs. Most current or former U.S. military members are eligible for Veterans Employment Services. There are many resources available to you if you served or are serving with any of the branches of the military, including as a reservist or National Guard member.
Employment resources for job seekers with disabilities
You may be more than ready to make a rewarding career move. You may have untapped skills in search of a terrific work environment. You may need some extra help getting there. There are many resources designed to support a diverse set of career goals and disability needs through Vocational Rehabilitation Services, State Services for the Blind and other programs.
Finding employment after 55
More and more Minnesotans are working later in life. Unfortunately, when people over 55 lose their jobs, it can be much harder to find a new position that’s comparable in pay, benefits and professional fulfillment. If you travel to Minnesota to help cultivate or harvest crops or work in food processing or other seasonal agricultural-related employment, there are services available to you. Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Services can help you find work, connect you with community resources, assist you if you have a problem with an employer, and provide you with information regarding CareerForce services.
Resources for job seekers with a criminal record
A criminal record can be a barrier to employment, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t real opportunities out there for you. We want you to have what you need to achieve a successful fresh start. CareerForce offers workshops, one-on-one career planning and job search appointments and other assistance to job seekers with a criminal record.
