Monday, April 14th through June 4th, 2025.
Monday April 14th and Wednesday, April 16th from 5PM to 7:30PM will be enrollment, testing, and Northstar Digital Modules.
Manufacturing 101 will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings, April 21 - June 4th, 2025 from 5-7:30 PM at Red Wing High School, Room I 120B, Red Wing, MN. This class includes workplace safety, manufacturing vocabulary, effective communication with coworkers, and other job related skills.
OSHA 10 for General Industry and Essential Soft Skills is yet to be determined. This class includes 16 hours of nationally recognized safety training and Soft Skills for employment.
Qualifiers to be eligible for grant funds:
Must live in one of the 10 Southeastern County areas (Wabasha, Goodhue, Winona, Steele, Olmsted, Rice, Mower, Dodge, Filmore, Freeborn, and Houston)
Hispanic
Cannot be enrolled in High School
Must be 18 years of age
***The prerequisite is to complete the NorthStar Digital and CASAS testing for Reading and Math.
A certificate of completion for NorthStar Digital Learning Modules.
A certificate of completion Manufacturing 101.
One college credit and a certificate of completion for OSHA 10 for General Industry and Essential Soft Skills.
