There are many opportunities for teens to meet with employers and find part time seasonal jobs for summer or full time permanent jobs throughout Minnesota.

Below are a sampling of upcoming events featuring at least some employers who have open positions for teens, with some hiring as young as age 14. All of these events are free for job seekers to attend. 

• Anoka County Career Fair featuring more than 100 employers and resource providers, some employers offer employment opportunities starting at age 14. This event takes place Wednesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Anoka Technical College, 1355 U.S. 10 in Anoka. View more details.
• Rochester Area Job Fair featuring more than 30 employers and research providers, some employers are offering employment opportunities for teens. This event takes place Wednesday April 9 from 10 a.m. - 1p.m. at the RCTC Sports Center / Fieldhouse at 851 30th Avenue SE in Rochester. View more details.
• Duluth Hiring Now Job Fair featuring some employers offer opportunities for teens. This event takes place Wednesday, April 9 at CareerForce Duluth, from 2 - 4 pm. View more details.
• Dakota-Scott County Teen Job Fair featuring employers who are all hiring teens, with some employment opportunities starting at age 14. The Big Ideas Mobile Learning Lab is on-site featuring hands-on industry-level simulators and personalized instruction. This event takes place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Galaxie Library, 14955 Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley. View more details.
• Alexandria Area Job Fair featuring some employment opportunities for teens. This event takes place Wednesday, April 30, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Viking Plaza Mall, 3015 MN-29. View more details.

Many high schools also host job fairs for their students on-site during the spring. Check to see if your high school is doing this.
