How do I submit my Employer Profile Information?
Simply complete and submit the online Employer Profile Questionnaire. Please note you are not able to save and finish later so we encourage you to gather the information below before you begin.
Why have an Employer Profile on CareerForceMN.com?
Career Seekers can search the Employer Profile List to find employers in their location. The Employer Profile List is another way to connect Employers and Career Seekers together. For an Employer Profile example check out MN Department of Employment and Economic Development’s Employer Profile
What information do I need to have for an Employer Profile?
Username and Password
You will be required to login to complete the form. Please use the account that you requested to Join CareerForce with. We will use that information to gather your Name and Work Email Address. You will need to enter your Daytime Phone Number. Your information is used to associate your account to your Employer Profile and contact you for additional information and approval of your Employer Profile Page.
Your information will not be included on the employer profile page, unless you provide it in other sections of the form.
Employer Information
We need your Employer Name and Website URL. We encourage you to provide the URL where a Career Seeker can find employment opportunities with your company.
Your Employer Information will be part of your public-facing employer profile page. Please only include information here that you want us to make public on CareerForceMN.com
Employer Locations
You must have at least one Primary Location in Minnesota. If you have multiple locations, we encourage you to provide that information. When Career Seekers search the Employer Profile list, they can search by a city, county, or zip code to find locations near them. Having all your locations listed will help Career Seekers find your company.
For each location you will need:
- Street Address including City, Zip, and State.
- Phone Number
- Preferably a general phone number where a Career Seeker could contact you about employment opportunities.
- Email Address
- Preferably a general email for your company where a Career Seeker could contact you about employment opportunities.
You will be required to enter at least your primary location. If you have additional locations and the above information is available on your website you will have the opportunity to provide us a link to this information so you don’t have to enter it for each location.

Employer Profile
Your Employer Profile provides information to Career Seekers about your company. We encourage you to provide information including your:
- About your company
- Mission, Vision, and Values
- Why Career Seekers would want to work for your company
- Any benefits you offer
- Range of job titles available at your company
You may have similar information on your company website, and you are encouraged to use that if available. Please note all employer profile page content is subject the Terms of use for Employers and CareerForce Partners and content must be:
- Short. Please provide a few short paragraphs to describe your organization. Lengthy profiles are unlikely to be read.
- Clear and factual. Your profile should portray your organization in a positive way, but please avoid including advertising content like marketing superlatives and unsubstantiated claims. Use jargon-free terminology that’s inclusive of people who may be unfamiliar with the work you do or the services you offer.
- Free of any implied endorsement. No profile or other content placed on the website – or linked to or from the website – may imply endorsement or recommendation by CareerForceMN.com or by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development or the State of Minnesota.
All submitted content will be reviewed before being published on the website. CareerForceMN.com, at its sole discretion, may edit or refuse to post a profile if the content does not comply with these terms.

What happens after I submit my information?
After you submit your information, we will review it. One of our CareerForce Information and Assistance Specialist will email a copy of your profile for approval or contact you if more information is needed. CareerForceMN.com, at its sole discretion, may edit or refuse to post a profile if the content does not comply with the above terms. Each employer is responsible for regularly reviewing and updating profile page content. Updates go through the same review process with CareerForceMN.com staff.
