This class will be held at Minnesota State College-Southeast Red Wing.
10 hours of classroom instruction, including Math for Welders, Weld Symbols and Safety.
30 hours of hands-on welding instruction, including:
- GMAW MIG Welding
- Intro to Oxyfuel Cutting
- Intro to SMAW (stick)
- Intro to Plasma Cutting
- Plus Northstar Digital Literacy Computer Training
- OSHA 10 Certification
Qualifiers: Individual of color, lacking stable housing, criminal record, no High School Diploma or GED, disability, unemployed for the last 26 weeks, at of below the 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline
