In this training, you will get up to speed on learning techniques by covering basic pre-requisites. You will learn all aspects of connectivity methods, as well as master the basics of copper cabling, installation, construction, and troubleshooting. In addition, students will experience all aspects of fiber optics cabling, learn where and when fiber applications are used and how to use the new technology.
Career counseling will also be offered to participating students, in order to assist with resumes, cover letters, applications, and general job-search.
- Income must be 200% of the Federal Poverty Level or lower (please contact us with questions)
- Must provide valid government-issued photo ID and social security card (without restrictions)
- Math and reading assessments will be given at the enrollment meeting
- Participants should be committed to looking for full-time employment following the completion of their training program
