Free Training Program at PPL's Career Center a Community Health Worker


About the Program:
- Community Health Worker Certification

-16 College credits

- 80-90 Hour job shadow

-$18-23 per hour average wage

 

Position Titles: Outreach Educator, Community Health Navigator, Peer Health Educator, Community Outreach Advisor, Contact Tracer

 

Tentative Schedule: September 27th 2022-May 2023

Evening Classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-9

HYBRID held online and in-person at Normandale College



Details:
- Enrollment process must be completed by September 16th with limited capacity

Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legal to work in the United States
- Need at least 12-months Customer Service experience
- Proficient math and reading skills

Outcomes

You will be prepared for positions such as an Outreach Educator, Community Health Navigator, Peer Health Educator, Community Outreach Advisor, and Contact Tracer. You will earn an industry recognized certificate that includes 16 college credits.

Program Costs

Free - Based on Household Income up to 200% to the poverty-line.
