Eligibility:

Be born outside the US
Be able to attend all sessions
Be able to pass an English assessment

Expand your career potential by strengthening your leadership and management skills during our 12-week Professional Leadership Training. This class is designed for New Americans with U.S. work experience across industries.

Alongside a community of supportive peers from around the world, you will increase your confidence and abilities in presentation skills, employee management, networking and digital literacy. Throughout this experiential class and after graduation, we provide employment guidance to find a job, get a promotion, or identify additional training as needed.

A leadership training for individuals born outside the US who want to advance their careers or reestablish their career here in the US.

How to Participate

Before the class begins, please attend one of the following orientations at the Institute where you will be able to complete all the steps in the registration process.

Orientations:

Wednesday, April 16, 6 – 8 p.m.
Friday, April 25, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Monday April 28, 1 – 3 p.m.

Outcomes

Students who complete this program will:

Participate in professional mock interviews
Conduct an informational interview in the industry they want to pursue
Receive support from a Career Advancement Specialist to help advance in thier career
