Designed for jobseekers, this program offers 4 weeks of training, with anticipated hiring at Medtronic. You'll receive:

  • Career Coaching
  • In-person Training
  • Job Experience
  • $650 stipend

 

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • Attendees will receive a $650 stipend
  • Average starting wage $17-18/hour
  • Support including interview clothing, fuel, or bus cards
  • Job coach and placement opportunities  
  • Computer and internet assistance
  • Must have a valid MN driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED
  • City of Minneapolis residents preferred

 

IN-PERSON TRAININGS INCLUDES:

  • Job readiness skills: resume and interviewing
  • Customer service and workplace professionalism
  • Coaching and mentoring from employer partner- Medtronic
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on microscope practice
  • Preparation to meet Medtronic hiring requirements
